Confirmation Service Information for Year 3 Students
Year 3 Confirmation parents, On this page you will find information on the 2012 Rite of Confirmation Service.
This year we will be celebrating the Rite of Confirmation on Sunday May 6th at the 8:00 am Traditional Service, as well as the 11:00 am Praise Service. As stated in the letter you have received, Families will be able to choose which of the two services their youth will be Confirmed at.
Below you will find a short registration Form. Please fill it out in full with your name, your Youth's name, and your service preference.
All Service preferences need to be received no later than Friday April 27th, 2012.

Also Note:
On Wednesday, May 2nd, we are observing Exam Night. Among the highlights of this evening we will have the public questioning of the confirmands by the elders. Also to be observed is the rehearsal for confirmation and the reception for the confirmands. One order of business to be taken care of is to make sure that we will be reserving enough pews for the confirmands’ families. A group picture, as well as individual photos (should you desire) may be taken this evening. Because of these opportunities, we are asking that confirmands be dressed up appropriately for this evening. As well, because of significant absences (both due to illness in addition to previously excused absences over the past few Wednesdays among the 8th graders), we did not have a fitting of the confirmation robes. Because of this, we are asking that the 8th graders assemble at church in the narthex at 5:30pm. The first order of business is to have the young people fitted for the robes to be worn. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
